Our entirely independent fjord Norway experience to the world-famous Geirangerfjord! The tour starts with one night in Oslo, then continues between Oslo and Bergen with one night en route in Flåm. Onward to scenic Bergen with one night allowing for time explore prior to embarking for an overnight cruise to the spectacular Geirangerfjord. In Geiranger you will disembark and spend the night at the charming Hotel Union & Spa, overlooking the Geirangerfjord.
The next morning, depart by scheduled coach on one of the world’s most scenic drives between Geiranger and Åndalsnes via the “Eagle’s Road” and along Norway’s most popular tourist road the “Trollstigen”, from which you will see some of the highest mountain peaks in Norway. Once you arrive in Åndalsnes you will board the Rauma Line. This train offers a beautiful ride to Dombås where you connect to the scheduled train to Oslo via Lillehammer.

Arrival into Oslo, the Viking capital. Transfer on own to your four-star hotel located close to the Central Station.
Remainder of day free to visit landmarks and attractions such as City Hall, the Viking Ship Museum, Vigeland Sculpture Park and more (not included). Overnight at a four-star hotel located in the city center.

After an early breakfast, transfer on your own to Oslo’s Central Station. You’ll take a scenic five-hour train ride towards Bergen via the beautiful Hallingdal Valley to Myrdal. In Myrdal you will change trains to the spectacular Flåm Railway, descending for 13 miles from a height of 2600 ft. to sea level—via 20 tunnels, scenic views and waterfalls—before reaching Flåm itself.
You will spend the night at a charming fjord hotel located next to the rail station. Evening is at leisure before dinner at the hotel.

Enjoy your buffet breakfast as you look out over the scenic Aurlandsfjord. Flåm is a small fjord village but offers many options for activities, including hiking and kayaking. You can either depart in the morning or mid-afternoon on a two-hour fjord cruise along the Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord to Gudvangen.
In Gudvangen you will connect to the scheduled bus to Voss. The bus travels for about 90 minutes via Stalheim Canyon and several impressive waterfalls (from May through September; the rest of the year the bus goes via a tunnel). Upon arrival in Voss you will connect to the Bergen train for a one-hour ride to Bergen Station. In Bergen, you transfer on your own to a four-star hotel close to the harbor.

Breakfast is at your hotel. Enjoy a full day to explore Bergen or take an optional city tour (not included).
In the early evening take a short transfer on your own to the cruise ship for a northbound overnight sailing along the west coast to Ålesund. Overnight is on the ship in a standard outside cabin with a private bath.

Scandinavian breakfast buffet is onboard your cruise ship. After a short morning call in Ålesund, you stay on the ship and sail into the Geirangerfjord, disembarking in Geiranger. You’ll be met by a representative at the pier and transported to a stunning local four-star hotel to enjoy dinner and overnight.

Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Late morning departure by scheduled coach for a spectacular ride to Åndalsnes. Upon arrival, board the spectacular Rauma Rail Line for a 90-minute journey to Dombås. Here you will connect to the express train bound for Oslo with early/late evening arrival. This four-hour train trip will take you through the scenic Gudbrandsdal Valley and Lillehammer, site of the 1994 Winter Olympics, to Oslo.
Enjoy a final night at your four-star hotel located in the city center.
