Day 1 - Journey to Finland

Welcome to Helsinki! Upon arrival, you will meet your private driver who will take you to your accommodation in the city center.

Day 2 - Explore Helsinki

Enjoy the day! Some suggestions to visit on your own include:

Uspenski Cathedral: Main cathedral of the Finnish Orthodox Church and is claimed to be the largest orthodox church in Western Europe. The National Library is located next door to cathedral and is a hidden gem to visit as well.

Sibelius Park & Monument: Constructed in honor of Finnish composer Jean Sibelius (1865-1957), this seaside park and memorial is one of Helsinki's major attractions.

Esplanade Park

Market Hall: Located near the harbor and just across from Allas Sea Pool in the main ferry dock of Helsinki. This is an excellent market hall for trying a range of high quality Finnish snacks and delicacies.

Day 3 - Food & Beer Tour

Take a private food and beer tour of the city. Here, you can get familiar with the local ingredients and seasonal specialties, including sampling Finnish delicacies and browsing the finest ingredients available. Continue to a classical Finnish restaurant to enjoy a traditional Finnish dish and after, get some chocolates for a sweet treat. The tour ends at a nearby brewery bar where the local beer scene will be presented at its best.

Day 4 - Helsinki and Porvoo

Your private guide will bring you on a walking and driving tour of Helsinki and quaint neighboring town of Porvoo.

Day 5 - Helsinki Museums

Enjoy the day on your own.

Helsinki has some great museums you might want to visit:

Kiasma: The crown jewel of contemporary art in Finland, as well as a meeting place for people and art. The museum is located at the heart of Helsinki and its collections form a significant part of Finland’s cultural heritage.

Amos Rex, home to one of the largest private art collections in Finland hosting popular exhibitions. Amos Rex has also received international attention for its unique architecture. You will find the museum in the Lasipalatsi (“Glass Palace” in Finnish) building in central Helsinki, but the exhibition space is in fact located underground. The curved domes at Lasipalatsi Square have become a popular meeting spot, where you are free to rest, play, and capture selfies using the exciting landscape as a backdrop.

The Ateneum, in the heart of Helsinki has Finland’s oldest and largest collection of art. This historically important building has been the home of Finnish art since 1888, and its collection represents a substantial part of the Finns’ shared national heritage. Until the 1980s, the Ateneum also housed an art school where many of Finland’s great artists once studied.

Day 6 - Rovaniemi

Make your way up North to Rovaniemi, where you might be able to spot your first Northern Lights while you enjoy Arctic Floating.

Day 7 - Ranua Wildlife Park

Today you will see a lot more than just reindeer, taking a small group tour to the Ranua Wildlife Park. In the afternoon you can explore the Santa Village.

Day 8 - Northern Lights Sleigh Ride

Enjoy a private snowshoe excursion today. This evening you will be picked up by a local reindeer herder and taken through the wilderness via sleigh ride, with the hopes of the Northern Lights dancing above you.

Day 9 - Glass Igloo

Your private driver will bring you a few hours to Levi, where you will spend the next two nights in a Glass Igloo suite, including your own personal hot tub. Enjoy the scenery, hopefully you will be sleeping under the Northern Lights. For an extra chance on Northern Lights tonight, you will venture out on snow mobiles!

Day 10 - Dog Sled Ride

Meet your guide who will take you on a self driving 2 hour husky tour where you will take the reins!

Day 11 - Travel to Stockholm

Enjoy one last breakfast and enjoy the morning on your own before your flight to Stockholm. Once you arrive in Stockholm, your private driver will meet you and take you to your accommodations.

Welcome to Sweden! Stockholm is Sweden’s capital and the largest of all of the Nordic cities. This vibrant city is built on fourteen islands and its waterfront is alive with boats and ferries to shuttle you around the city, and also yachts that cruise out into the vast archipelago that stretches into the Baltic. Its history dates back to the 13th century, and the best place to discover it is in Gamla Stan, the Old Town.

Day 12 - Stockholm

Your private guide will pick you up and bring you on a three hour walking and driving tour of the city. Here, you will enjoy
a few viewpoints of the city, and end with a walking tour of Gamla Stan (Old Town).

 

Day 13 - Stockholm Museums

Enjoy a day on your own!

Suggestions: 

Vasa Museum: Explore the world's only preserved 17th century ship, which capsized and sank in 1628 in the Baltic sea and was raised out and painstakingly restored.

The Nordic Museum: Located on Djurgården, an island in central Stockholm, Sweden, dedicated to the cultural history and ethnography of Sweden from the early modern period to the contemporary period

ABBA Museum: ABBA interactive exhibition about the pop band ABBA and their collected works, showcased in a contemporary, interactive setting.

Fotografiska: Great photography museum with a lovely brasserie and restaurant with amazing views over the city. Usually the museum is open until 11pm, so also a perfect evening activity.

 

Day 14 - Travel to Oslo

Today will be making your way to another one of the Scandinavian Capitals, Oslo!

Welcome to Norway! Oslo, the capital of Norway, sits on the country’s southern coast at the head of the Oslofjord. It’s known for its green spaces and museums. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 15 - Oslo

Enjoy a 3 hour walking tour of Oslo with a private guide, where you will see the main highlights of the city center including the Royal Palace, King Johan Street and the iconic Opera House.

Day 16 - Train Ride to Bergen

This morning, your driver will bring you to Oslo Central Station, where you’ll board your morning train and begin your journey towards Bergen, with a 2 night stay in Flåm. Your high speed train on the Bergen Railway will take you on a comfortable 4+ hour journey, where you can enjoy the fjord and highland landscape as you pass though many charming villages. In Myrdal, you’ll switch trains to the famous Flåm Railway (Flåmsbana) for an incredible ride to the beautiful village of Flåm.

Day 17 - Snowshoe Hike

Today, enjoy a private 3 hour snowshoe hike, where you will be treated to magnificent fjord views followed in the evening by a traditional Viking dinner.

Day 18 - Bergen

Today you will continue your journey from Flåm to Bergen. You will take a ferry to Gudvangen along the world class Nærøyfjord. 

Bergen is renowned for its mountain views, colorful wharf, and delicious fresh fish and seafood. Suggestions include:

A visit the famous fish market at the harbor.

The UNESCO-designated Bryggen.

Check out the Rosenkrantz Tower & the Bergenhus stone fortress that used to serve as the king’s residence.

St. Mary's Church: The oldest still-standing building in the city. It was constructed in the 12th century and still functions as a church today.

Skostredet - Old town center which is a popular street for restaurants.

We also recommend riding the Floibanen Funicular to the top of Mount Florence to enjoy the panoramic views.

Day 19 - Boat Cruise

Enjoy a private yacht charter from Bergen, to Modelen. You will cruise from Bergen where you pass the suburbs of Sandviken and Eidsvåg, passing waterfalls and into the narrow and remote fjords and villages.

As you slowly cruise up the fjords from Bergen, the scenery changes gradually leaving behind the second largest city in Norway, passing the suburbs Sandviken and Eidsvåg, to when you arrive at the narrow remote fjords and villages with beautiful waterfalls. The atmosphere shifts from busy city life, to a quiet and pristine landscape and surroundings.

You can dock in the village of Mo for a break, where you can have lunch at the small local café and explore the village on your own. No other tours stop in Mo, so this is a great opportunity to enjoy the village in private.

Day 20 - Travel to Copenhagen

Enjoy the morning in Bergen before your private driver picks you up and brings you to the airport for your flight to Copenhagen. 

Copenhagen is famous for its picturesque cobblestone streets, historic castles, and 17th-century architecture.

Day 22 - Culinary Tour

Meet your private guide for a biking and culinary tour of the city, where you will enjoy some Danish specialties, make stops at 6 different local establishments and get to know the city and its culture.

Day 23 - Travel to Iceland

Your private driver will bring you to the airport in time for your flight to Iceland.

Day 24 - Sky Lagoon

Enjoy a day in Reykjavik. In the afternoon, take a cab for the quick ride to the Sky Lagoon where you can relax in the geothermal waters. Afterwards, your private guide will bring you outside the city for one more chance at finding the Northern Lights.

Day 25 - Golden Circle

With your guide, spend the day exploring the sights of the Golden Circle and some of Iceland's most stunning natural wonders. Enjoy Gullfoss Waterfall, Strokkur Geysir, with boiling mud pits and exploding geysers, Kerid volcanic crater, a 3,000 year old volcanic crater lake and Þingvellir (Thingvellir), a historic site and national park in Iceland, sitting in a rift valley caused by the separation of two tectonic plates, with rocky cliffs and fissures like the huge Almannagjá fault.

When you are done, head to the nearby glacier and enjoy a thrilling snowmobile adventure.

 

Day 26 - South Coast of Iceland

You have a full-day adventure down the South Coast of Iceland, where you will enjoy stops at the ever popular Seljalandsfoss and impressive Skógafoss Waterfall. You will also strap on a pair of crampons and be treated to an exciting glacier hike. From here, you will continue on to Vík í Mýrdal, which is a small coastal village and home to the black sand beach of Reynisfjara.

Day 27 - Travel Home
