Norway in Two Weeks: Itinerary Inspiration

Day 1 - Journey to Norway

Welcome to Norway! Meet your private driver at the airport and head to Oslo Central Station and begin your journey to Flam. The first part of your journey begins with a high speed train from Oslo to Myrdal, followed by a ride on The Flam Railway from Myrdal to Flam. The spectacular Flåmsbana offers panoramic views of wildlife and magnificent nature, and has been named "the world's most beautiful train ride."

Day 2 - Boat Cruise

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before checking in for your RIB boat cruise along the Aurlandsfjord. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery, stories, tales, and history shared by your personal guide. Spot seals, porpoises and eagles along the way. Take a cruise to Bergen and enjoy a ride along the Sognefjord, Norway's longest and deepest fjord.

Day 3 - Bergen

Spend the day exploring Bergen on your own. Consider riding the Floibanen funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen.  Check out the spectacular view of the city, visit the Troll Forest or walk exciting nature trails.

Fly to Alesund and make your way to Hotel Brosundet. 

Day 4 - Radhusbrygga

After breakfast make your way to Radhusbrygga, where you will spend your day. 

Day 5 - Trondheim

After breakfast begin your journey to Trondheim. Get your camera ready!

Day 6 - Leknes

Spend the morning exploring on your own. Nidaros Cathedral is a must see. Make your way to the Trondheim Airport, and prepare for your flight Leknes. You will land at 3:25. After you land, head to the Hattvika Lodge in Ballstad. Check out Haukland Beach, about 15 minutes from your hotel.

Day 7 - Lofoten Islands

Spend the day exploring the Lofoten Islands. Rent kayaks, hike, or explore the adorable village of Ballstad. In the evening, take a Northern Lights tour. 

Day 8 - Lofoten Islands - Trosmo

Spend the morning exploring the majestic Lofoten Islands. Then make your way to the Leknes Airport to prepare for your Tromso. After you land, make your way to Clarion The Edge. Restaurant Smak AS is a great spot for dinner.

Day 9 - Lyngen North

Spend the morning exploring on your own and then head to Lyngen North, about a 3 hour drive. After you check in
explore the grounds of the hotel. 

Day 10 - Northern Norway

Spend the day exploring Northern Norway. Check out Reisa National Park, about 90 minutes from Lyngen North. Reisa National Park takes over where the Finnmarksvidda mountain plateau ends abruptly. The Reisa River has cut into the mountain plateau like an axe blade in the landscape to form the long Reisa Valley. You will discover an eldorado of spectacular waterfalls, deep canyons and harsh forests. Prepare yourself for a unique piece of Norwegian nature!

Day 11 - Trosmo - Oslo

Make your way back to Tromso and prepare for your flight to Oslo. Spend the rest of the day exploring on your own. Vigeland Park is a must see!

 

Day 12 - Trosmo - Oslo

After breakfast begin exploring Oslo. Check out the historic Royal Palace, Oslo City Hall, the medieval Akershus fortress, Karl Johan Street and Kvadraturen.

Day 13 - Travel Home

Your trip has come to an end. Head to the airport to begin your journey home.
